Campus Calm

In this fast-paced world we live in, waiting is the last thing we want to do. Yet, God calls us to be patient and walk in this as a virtue. We see this in James 1:4 and it says, “Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete.”

When we practice patience or are put into situations where we need patience and act on it, it can cause us to grow closer to God and learn that His timing is best. We can learn that we should trust in His timing. just like when a seed is planted in the soil, transformation does not happen overnight, growth like this takes time. During a time of waiting, we can find a sense of peace in reflection and prayer, knowing that He is always working within us.

We can remember that patience is not a chore that we have to do, but it’s a daily opportunity for growth. I encourage you to trust in His plan, and let your daily effort to be patient help shape you into the person He desires you to be."
